Dhakshina Coaching and Test Centre was started in 2002 with the main focus of providing students with the right environment and best possible guidance through well qualified and experienced teachers. Our teachers ensure that the students get all the guidance needed not only to do well in school exams, but to top them. With a wide range of courses on offer, students can choose packages to suit their needs.

Founder
Dr.Vasantha Krishnaswamy –She was the principal of D.A.V.Mat.Hr.Sec.School in Gopalapuram since the inception of the school. Under her guidance, the school produced outstanding results in the Board examinations year after year. The students topped in the state in individual subjects and in the cumulative totals. Prior to that, she taught Maths, Physics and Computer Science in D.A.V. (C.B.S.E.) Gopalapuram for 16 years. She further added to her achievements, a doctorate in Education.

Facilities
We believe that where you learn is as important as what you learn. We have two air conditioned centres in Chennai at T.Nagar and Mylapore. We provide residential facility for students from places outside Chennai. A comfortable stay, good food and a responsible care taker is assured.

Mrs.Parvathy Kruparam – Co-ordinator – Mylapore branch

Mrs.Parvathy is an excellent Maths teacher having a long span of experience at D.A.V. Senior Secondary School, Gopalapuram. She taught up to class X and produced excellent results in Mathematics. After retirement she has joined Dhakshina and has undertaken the responsibility of coordinating the Mylapore Branch.

Heads of Departments
We have highly qualified and vastly experienced teachers as heads of department for all the core subjects. This team of teachers prepares the course material and the evaluation system for the students. They prepare this course material after rigorous research into the syllabus and design it such that it is comprehensive and easy to understand. They also periodically review the material to ensure that it is accurate and

up-to-date. This core group of teachers guides the other teachers in effective teaching methods which ensure that the students gain clarity in concepts and score highly in examinations.

Visiting faculty: This year we have tied up with leading , professional groups who are well versed in preparing IITJEE, personality development, College based entrance exams etc.,

Ms.Vasantha Krishnaswamy is the single owner of Dhakshina. The centre which was given as franchise for one year, has been re-started by Ms.Vasantha Krishnaswamy.

No one else can use the name :DHAKSHINA". If any centre runs in that name, Vasantha Krishnaswamy has no connection with that; they are not part of Dhakshina, started by Vasantha Krishnaswamy immediately after her retirement as Principal, from D.A.V., Gopalapuram - about 11 years back.
